Are you curious to find about more about how you can benefit from working with me?
Well, I think it’s good to know someone’s story, especially with this kind of work. It’s very personal and dare I say, intimate. Knowing a bit more of my personal journey might be worthwhile.
So if it’s OK with you, I will share how I became a full-time belief clearing therapist and coach.
I am originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, and I have lived in England, France, Scotland and Israel when I was in my 20’s. I currently live in the south of France near Toulouse.
One of my favorite activities in those days was reading, and I especially enjoyed personal development books and the occasional work of fiction. It was my escape from a hard day of labour, quite literally. I worked on farms, bars, hotels and even as a security guard. I still consume a lot of data, but these days I mostly read articles online, watch TED talks and listen to audiobooks.
When I was living in Israel in 2003, there was a used-bookstore close to my apartment that I used to frequent. It was there that I found a book called Dianetics, “The modern Science of Mental Health” by L. Ron Hubbard. In it, Hubbard described a therapeutic process that was able to remove the cause of all suffering. It was a fascinating book.
As I was reading the book I thought, wow, if this is true, this could be the thing I’ve been looking for to get my own life in order. And if that is the case, then I would also like to help other people using this therapy. I wanted to do it professionally. At that time, I was 23 years old and did not have any clear direction for a career.
So I left Tel Aviv, Isreal and went to London, England to get trained as a Dianetics Auditor, – the word auditor in this case means “one who listens”.
After I graduated, I remained at the training center to get some additional practice, and I was able to give and receive a few sessions almost everyday for 4-5 months. I became quite skilled at this technique, which is very similar to regression therapy; going into the past and finding traumatic incidents that are the cause of present day mental, emotional and even physical problems. It was quite effective and at that time was the best I had ever experienced. When compared to psychoanalysis, or unguided talk therapy, it really is excellent and the results are immediate.
At the end of 2003 I returned to Johannesburg, South Africa to continue my studies in higher levels of this therapy. Mainly because it was quite expensive to live and study in the UK compared to SA. Over the next two years I completed many courses and internships, which I enjoyed very much, until something went very wrong… (I’ll tell you about that another time)
So, I was deeply involved with Dianetics and later, Scientology for about 4 years before I decided to move on. I found that there was more to know and experience and I was lucky enough to buy and read a few books by Tony Robbins, which led me into an entirely new area of rapid personal change and transformation techniques. This was the first time I heard the terms Life Coach, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Values and Beliefs. It was truly amazing new knowledge to me, and I was very excited to integrate this into my own personal growth, and ultimately in my work with others as an amateur life coach.
Tony Robbins taught me so much through his books and audio programs, and this opened the door to further investigation and studies into peak performance and human potential.
I spent much of my income on books and education and got trained and certified in many subjects including NLP – Neuro-Linguistic Programming, EFT tapping, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Energy Healing, Meditation and many more.
I was caught in the “constant and never ending self improvement” trap, in that I was never satisfied with myself. I always wanted more knowledge, more books, more CD’s and to attend more seminars and training. I listened to hundreds of hours of audio lectures and more than a hundred books, and often more than once. I really wanted to be a professional life coach but I had some trouble getting started.
What I wanted more than anything was to be like my teachers – like Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, and all the teachers from the movie The Secret.
But I was not that…
I was not a public speaker, and I found it a challenge to sell myself.
I was not a very good writer, and certainly not an author of a bestselling book.
But what I was, I was very good at; facilitating processes and guiding people to insights, releasing heavy burdens, and to achieve their goals in life. I was a a good therapist and life coach, and my clients were tremendously happy with the results.
But I struggled with my self worth – to charge the right fees, and to ask for referrals and testimonials, and to promote myself. And the solution was always the same… just one more book! Just one more seminar! Just one more course, and then I’ll go PRO.
You see, I had a few false beliefs that blocked me from being a financially successful therapist and coach…
I believed that if I was really good, then my clients would spread the word, that they would tell their friends and family and refer me to everyone they knew, and I would be booked solid. But sadly, I was not booked solid. I had to work very hard to get enough clients to cover my expenses.
I also believed that because I was not an author, trainer or public speaker, I would never be successful in the personal development business.
After seven years of doing this work professionally, and having done more than 1000 one on one sessions, with about 200 clients, I started to yearn for something different because I felt like I was continually hitting a wall on my income goals, and I was getting tired of that.
Even though I had a great deal of personal development knowledge and experience helping others, I was unable to break through some of my own limitations. I sometimes felt that I was an impostor, a fake and a fraud.
The big change:
The big change, occurred slowly, but dramatically. I didn’t even notice that shifts were occuring and my personal energy was shifting… Let me tell you the story.
Around 2009 I came across something completely new. It was a systematic way of eliminating beliefs that cause unwanted feelings and behaviours, and unlike EFT and NLP, the process was able to deconstruct the beliefs permanently. I had been working with beliefs everyday for two years before I found the true Belief Elimination Processes, so I thought I was an expert on Clearing Beliefs … ha ha ha. It turns out, all the other techniques were just getting me ready to do this much deeper and more effective work.
This was a major breakthrough for me. I invested in the training and eliminated many of my own beliefs. I used the technique on many of my clients and the results were very good. At that time I was not as good as I am today, so I did not have a 100% success rate then. But, it was still MORE REAL and genuine than the other techniques I had been using up to that time.
I stopped doing EFT tapping, Kinesiology, Quantum this and that, and regression therapy almost immediately.
If you can imagine, it was like I had two vehicles – the one I was using before was a 1986 Toyota Corolla. It worked OK, but very slowly and uncomfortably, and sometimes it would break down and run out of fuel.
Then imagine, I got myself a BMW X1, and it was 100% reliable, fast, powerful, efficient, was more comfortable to drive, and had all the luxurious extras. So I didn’t want to drive the Toyota Corolla anymore. I hope you get that picture.
The new thing I learned was called The Lefkoe Method, which is actually a variety of processes, one of which is the Lefkoe Belief Process or “LBP”. This method has worked on over 150,000 people around the world and has been studied at university with excellent outcomes. I studied all Morty Lefkoe’s available materials – training videos, books, and articles so that I could honestly master the process and get 100% success rate with my clients, and with myself too.
The thing I wanted more than anything was to make more money, and to be free of the unconscious barriers about money. So that is what I worked on. I found and processed my money beliefs at every opportunity.
Very soon after eliminating my limiting and negative beliefs around money, success, rich people, and having to work hard for money, opportunities started showing up…
In 2010, my wife and I started a new business providing financial accounting and auditing services. We tripled our income in a single month.
However, the business did not make money consistently, so there were still times that we struggled financially, but we persevered and by the end 2014 we were doing quite well. At this time I stopped all coaching and therapy because this business took up all of my time. The only coaching I did was business coaching.
The accounting business grew very well, and we employed three senior accountants and had 6 to 7 bookkeepers at any time to keep up with production. We had a big office, and a nice home in a very fancy gated community, and we bought our dream cars. I bought my wife a 2ct diamond ring, and we enjoyed the experience of having more than we needed. Our kids were in the best private school and all their desires were met. Yes, we spoiled our kids.
We were finally living the life we thought we wanted and worked so hard for. This was an important spiritual lesson for me, because all the money and success, still left me feeling unfulfilled. I wanted more connection and to add more value to people – mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
In 2018 I got a call from someone in Miami, USA who had heard about me online as a belief change expert and coach. Normally I would refuse to take on this kind of client, but I felt it would be interesting.
After an initial call, I accepted him as a client and we did some belief processing which developed into a more serious project of personal growth. We had a lot of fun and it reminded me of my past successes helping others with therapy and coaching.
So I discussed with my wife how good it felt to be doing this kind of work again. I felt alive and enthusiastic again. We talked about making a change, perhaps I could retire from accounting and leave that to her. Perhaps we could move out of Johannesburg to the South of France and I could coach full time.
After a trip to France and some research on immigration, schools, and setting a life in France, we made the decision to do it. Within 6 months, we had sold all our belongngs and moved to France.
We found a nice big house in the countryside near Toulouse. It is 30 minutes to the city, 2 hours from the Mediterranean sea, and 90 minutes from the mountains. We overlook rolling hills and fields of wheat and sunflowers. On a clear day, we can see the snow-capped Pyrenees mountains. It really is a beautiful place to live.
If I was going to be a good coach, I wanted to refresh my knowledge and skills. This time, I had the means to invest in myself and take higher level and higher cost coach training.
The obvious first choice for me was the Tony Robbins and Chloe Madanes coach training, which I studied. I also participated in the Strategic Intervention coach training with Mark and Magali Peysha.
I’ve also trained in spiritual techniques, which are quite interesting and very powerful too.
This is probably the longest About Me page you have read in a while, and I’m sharing my story not to impress you, but to give you an honest feel for my energy and the kind of person I am.
It is a great honour, pleasure and privilege for me to be able to serve you in the role of Life Coach and Belief Clearing facilitator.
My goal is to support you in your goals and personal, emotional and spiritual growth, so you can live with more joy and excitement.
I look forward to working with you.
Your sessions with me will be on the phone and I work with English speakers from anywhere in the world.

It’s not a sales call – just a friendly conversation about you. If we both feel that continuing with more sessions would be a good idea, then we go from there.
Thank you for reading to the end. Be well.
